In your home
Shoes off at the door if you like, a mat under everything, music or none, the dog in or out. We leave the room as we found it and put the sofa back.
We text when we leave the previous visit and again at ten minutes away. If the A48 is shut we tell you before the start time, not after.
A first-floor flat gets bands, a step and bodyweight; a garage gets kettlebells and a bench. We plan to the space you have, not the space we wish you had.
A health questionnaire before the first visit, GP sign-off where it matters, and a plan for clients in their eighties that starts from the chair they sit in.
What we bring
Everything else comes in the van: mats, kettlebells from 4 to 16 kg, five strengths of band, a step, a foam roller, a folding bench when there is room, and a first-aid kit and defibrillator at every visit. The kit list changes with the session; older adults get a balance pad, workplaces get twelve of everything.

Older adults at home
Forty-five minutes with Dan, who spent twenty years running falls prevention classes: sit-to-stands, step-ups, balance at the worktop and practising getting up from the floor. A phone call before the first visit, GP sign-off where it matters, and family welcome to sit in. £38 a visit.
How the visits workClients
I had not exercised since school and could not face a gym. Jac turned up at 6:30am with a van full of kit and we trained in the hallway because it was the only clear floor. Nine months on I still train in the hallway and I am stronger than I have ever been.
Dan has been coming to Dad every Tuesday since his fall last winter. He is eighty-eight and can now get up off the floor on his own, which none of us thought we would see. Dan rings me after each visit with a two-minute update.
We train on the lawn all year. In January Jac brought a groundsheet and a flask and we did kettlebell swings in the drizzle. Best hour of my week.
No. We bring everything: mats, kettlebells, bands, a step, a foam roller, and a bench when there is room. You need trainers and a cleared space about two metres square.
Put your postcode into the area checker. It shows whether we cover you, the travel fee and the next free visit day in your district.
Our hour is £45 plus a travel fee of nothing, £5 or £8. Gym trainers in the Vale charge £35 to £50 plus your membership; we think the drive you save evens it out.
No one-to-one sessions for under-18s. Over-16s may join a parent in a couples session with the parent present throughout.
Usually, yes. The questionnaire before the first visit tells us whether to ask you to check with your GP first, and we work to their advice.
Thirty minutes at your home: a look at the space, the health questionnaire, a few exercises to see how you move, and a plan. No obligation.
Check your postcode, then tell us when suits. Jac or Dan replies within the hour between visits with a time for a free taster: a look at the space, a short health questionnaire, a few exercises and a plan.
