Sessions

Workplace sessions

Forty-five minutes for up to twelve staff in a cleared meeting room or the car park, in work clothes and trainers.

Six office workers of mixed ages in work clothes and trainers doing a resistance-band session in a cleared meeting room led by a trainer

Up to twelve staff, forty-five minutes, a cleared meeting room or the car park, £90

Small employers across the Vale ask for something that gets people out of their chairs without a gym membership scheme nobody uses. Forty-five minutes at lunchtime, once a week, in the building, is usually it.

We bring twelve mats and twelve sets of bands, cones and a speaker, and we need a room about six metres square with the tables pushed back, or a quiet corner of the car park. Everything is done standing or on a mat, at three levels, in whatever people wore to work plus trainers.

Each person fills in a short health questionnaire before the first session, kept by us and not shared with the employer. Nobody is singled out, nobody is weighed and nothing is competitive unless the group asks for it.

Regulars include a solicitors' office in Cowbridge, a vets in Barry and a builders' merchant on the Llandow trading estate. We invoice the business monthly.

What is included

  • Mats and bands for twelve
  • Three levels of every exercise
  • Health questionnaires kept private from the employer
  • A monthly invoice to the business
  • A short desk routine sheet for everyone

What we bring

  • Exercise mats One each, cleaned after every visit; thicker mats for anyone kneeling on a hard floor.
  • Resistance bands Five strengths, light enough for a first session at 80 and strong enough to make a rugby player work.
  • Cones, ladder and timer For interval circuits outside or in a cleared meeting room.
  • Twelve sets of bands and mats For groups of up to twelve; nothing is shared without cleaning between.
  • First-aid kit and defibrillator In the van at every visit, and both trainers are first-aid qualified.

What it costs

£90 a session for up to twelve people, four for £320. Travel fees as for a home session. The area checker shows the travel fee for your postcode and the next free visit day.

Questions about workplace groups

Do people need to change?

No. Work clothes and trainers are fine; nothing makes you sweat through a shirt.

What if only four people come?

The price is the same, and four is a good group. We do ask for a minimum of four booked.

Is it VAT-able?

Prices on this demonstration site are shown as the total you pay.

Start with a free thirty-minute taster at home.

Check your postcode, then tell us when suits. Jac or Dan replies within the hour between visits with a time for a free taster: a look at the space, a short health questionnaire, a few exercises and a plan.
