One fee a year, tenants ring us direct
Landlord appliance contracts
A yearly contract for rented homes: tenants ring us, we fix the washer, cooker or fridge with labour and call-outs included, and you get a report and an invoice for parts only.

For landlords with a few houses in Merthyr, Aberdare and the valleys, appliance faults are a phone call from a tenant at the worst time. A contract means the tenant rings us, not you.
Each property on a contract has its appliances listed with make, model and age. Tenants ring us directly with the property address; we arrange the visit with them, fix the appliance with call-out and labour included, and email you a short report and a parts invoice. If an appliance is not worth repairing, we ring you with a recommendation and, if you want, supply and fit a replacement at trade price.
Once a year we visit each property to look over every appliance: seals, hoses, filters, vents, cooker connections and the general state of things, so faults are found before they flood a kitchen. Contracts run for twelve months and cover up to four appliances a property; a fifth is £15 a year.

Questions about landlord contracts
What does the contract cost?
£89 a year a property for up to four appliances, £15 for each extra appliance. Parts are charged at cost plus 15%.
Do you cover gas cookers?
Electric appliances only. Gas cookers and hobs need a Gas Safe engineer, and the annual gas safety check is a separate legal requirement.
How quickly do you attend for tenants?
Within two working days, and the same or next day for a fridge or freezer with food in it.
Book a repair, or ask first.
Ring and describe the fault: if it is something you can fix yourself, we will talk you through it for nothing. If not, the call-out is £59 and it is included in the fixed repair price when you go ahead.
