£7,950: Friday 2pm to Sunday 11am, exclusive use, all twelve bedrooms both nights

The weekend

The whole place from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning: set up on Friday and eat in the Courtyard, marry and feast on Saturday with up to 180 seated and 240 in the evening, and wake on Sunday to breakfast in the Stables for 26. Exclusive use, every room, every space, and Ceri running it.

The Barn set for a wedding breakfast with long oak tables, foliage runners, candles and festoon lights under the trusses

Most couples want the weekend, and this is the one most take: forty-five hours with the gates closed to anyone but you. Friday is for the florist, the rehearsal, a fish and chip supper in the Courtyard and the first night in the Stables; Saturday is the day; Sunday is bacon rolls, the leftover cake and leaving at eleven with nothing to carry home.

Friday from 2pm the Barn, the Cowshed, the Courtyard, the Meadow and the Snug are yours and Ceri walks the whole plan with you and whoever is helping. Suppliers deliver Friday afternoon; the florist can dress the Barn on Friday evening and the room stays set overnight. Supper on Friday for up to forty is £22 a head from the kitchen and the bar opens for your guests at the published prices, or bring your own for the Friday with no corkage.

Saturday: a ceremony in the Cowshed (120) or the Barn (200), drinks and canapés in the Courtyard, the wedding breakfast at long tables for up to 180, speeches, cake, and the evening with up to 240 and the band on the Barn stage until midnight. The Stables sleep 26 on both nights; the rest of your guests have the Abergavenny hotels fifteen minutes away and the minibus we book for you. Sunday breakfast is served from 8:30 and the gates close at 11.

Questions about weekend

Can we have the tipi on the Meadow?

Yes, from May to September, £2,400 for the weekend, seating 150 or standing 250, with the Barn kept as the wet-weather room. Most couples with over 180 guests take it.

What if we have 220 for the evening?

The Barn takes 240 standing with the doors to the Courtyard open, and the Courtyard adds 200 more in summer. Over 240 in winter means the tipi is not an option, so we would talk honestly about numbers.

Pick a date, tell us the numbers, and come and stand in it.

The enquiry form has a date picker and takes two minutes; Ceri replies within the working day with a viewing if the date is free and two honest alternatives if it is not. Viewings are an hour, Tuesday to Saturday, at the time of day your ceremony would be.
