Forty minutes from Cardiff and Bristol, and nobody else in the building.
Companies come for the reason couples do: it is one place, it is theirs for the day, it is beautiful, and the food is good. The Barn takes eighty at long tables or sixty cabaret, the Cowshed is a breakout for thirty, the Snug for ten, and the Meadow is where the afternoon goes when the slides are over.
The day price covers the Barn and the Cowshed from 8am to 6pm, 300Mb wifi, a 75-inch screen on a stand and a second in the Cowshed, a PA with microphones, flipcharts, coffee and pastries from eight, a buffet lunch from the kitchen and tea and cake at three. Parking for sixty cars, and a minibus from Abergavenny station if you ask.
Residentials take the Stables (twelve rooms, 26 beds, £1,400 a night for all twelve) with dinner at the long table from £55 a head and the bar open to a tab, then breakfast and a second day at £1,450. We host about fifteen a year and keep them to midweek so they never meet a wedding.

Can we do team activities?
The Meadow takes most things: we have hosted archery, axe-throwing, a cookery challenge in the kitchen with Tomos, and a lot of rounders. We will put you in touch with the people who run them.
Is there a smaller option?
The Cowshed alone, for up to thirty, is £850 a day with the same coffee and lunch. The Snug for a board meeting of ten is £350.
