Coffins, flowers and cars
A range of coffins from a simple veneered one, included in our charge, to willow, cardboard, oak and painted; flowers made by a florist we have used for twenty years; a limousine or two if you want them; and service sheets printed here. Each on the price list.
The extras are where funeral bills go wrong, so ours are on one page with a price next to each, and the arrangement starts from nothing added. If you want a willow coffin and two cars and lilies on every pew, you can have them, and you will know what they cost before you say yes.
Coffins: the veneered oak-effect one included in our charge is a proper coffin and most families choose it. Beyond that, willow or seagrass from a Somerset weaver, cardboard that can be drawn on by grandchildren, solid oak or elm, a painted or picture coffin, and a natural-burial-ground-approved range. We have one of each in the room at Station Road so you can see them rather than choose from a catalogue. Flowers come from Bethan at the florist on Market Street, who has made our sprays since 2006: a coffin spray from £95, a family wreath from £60, and anything you describe. You can also use your own florist, or have flowers from the garden, which is often the loveliest.
Cars: the hearse is included. A limousine seats six and costs £195; most families take one or none. We also do horse-drawn, motorcycle sidecar and a Land Rover hearse through people we trust, at their prices. Service sheets are designed and printed here, from £65 for fifty, with the photograph and the words you want and a proof before they are printed. Music is played from the crematorium's system or live; we book the organist, the choir or the band if you tell us who.

The simplest coffin is included; willow £795, oak £1,150. A limousine £195. A coffin spray from £95. Service sheets from £65 for fifty. Our charges carry no VAT; third-party fees are passed on at cost. The prices page has the standardised price list, the packages and every extra.
Questions about coffins and flowers
Can we bring our own coffin?
Yes, if it meets the crematorium's or cemetery's rules, which we will check. There is no charge for using it and we take the included coffin off the estimate.
Do you charge for arranging flowers through you?
No. Bethan's prices are her prices; we pass them on at cost and she delivers to our rooms.
