Burial or cremation, a service, the day as you want it
Attended funerals
A funeral with a service that family and friends attend, at the crematorium, a church or chapel, a cemetery, or somewhere that was theirs. We arrange everything, with you deciding each part, and our charge for it is on the price list.

Most of the funerals we arrange are attended: a hearse, a service, people who loved the person in the room. Within that there is a great deal of choice, and our job is to lay it out plainly, price each part, and then do exactly what you decided.
The arrangement takes about an hour, at home or in our rooms. We talk about the person, whether it is burial or cremation, where the service might be, who will lead it, the coffin, the music, the flowers, the cars, and whether people gather afterwards. You go away with a written estimate: our charge for the funeral on one line, each extra you chose on its own line, and the third-party fees (crematorium or cemetery, minister or celebrant, any doctor or church fee) listed as the amounts those people charge. We do not add a margin to third-party fees.
In the days between, your person is in our care on Station Road, and you can visit by appointment whenever you need to. We register nothing without you, print nothing without showing you, and ring rather than email if a decision is needed. On the day, Huw conducts, Eleri or Catrin is with the family, and the cortege leaves from wherever you choose: our rooms, your home, or the chapel direct.

Questions about attended funerals
What is the difference between the attended and the simple funeral?
The simple funeral is an attended funeral at a weekday time the crematorium offers at its lower fee, with the simplest coffin, the hearse direct from our rooms, and no limousine. The service, the care and the people are the same. It is £655 less on our charges and usually £200 to £300 less on the crematorium fee.
Can the service be somewhere other than the crematorium?
Yes: a church or chapel, a village hall, a hotel, a garden, the rugby club. Most crematoria allow a short committal after a service held elsewhere. We arrange the timings and the second journey.
If you need us, ring. Any hour, one of us answers.
For a death that has just happened, the number below rings Eleri, Catrin or Huw day or night, and we can be with you within the hour. For anything that can wait, the form on the contact page is answered the same working day, and plans, prices and what to do first each have their own page.
