Garden office, Caerphilly
A 5 × 3.5 metre insulated garden office with floor-to-ceiling glazing, built in three weeks on screw piles so the lawn was untouched.
£28,500
From a home office to a whole house
Insulated garden offices and studios in three weeks, and self-build houses from foundations to handover with one contractor.

A garden room is a small building done properly: foundations, insulation to house standards, a power supply that is certified and a roof that lasts. A new build is the same discipline at a larger scale.
Garden rooms are timber frame on a concrete or screw-pile base, insulated walls, floor and roof, larch or composite cladding, aluminium glazing and a certified electrical supply from the house. Most are under 2.5 metres tall so they need no planning permission. Three weeks on site.
For self-builders we offer a full build contract from foundations to completion, or a watertight shell for you to finish. We have built timber-frame and block houses across the Vale and the valleys, and we work with your architect and warranty provider from the first meeting.

Not usually. A single-storey building under 2.5 metres high within two metres of a boundary (or under 4 metres further in), covering less than half the garden, is permitted development. Sleeping accommodation changes that.
Yes. Ours are insulated to the same standard as a house wall and roof, with a heater sized for the room. The ones that get cold are the ones built like sheds.
Gareth or Claire will come out, measure up and give you a straight answer on what is possible and roughly what it costs. No charge, no obligation, no hard sell.
