Services

Six things we build, and nothing we don't.

We turned down kitchen-only fitting for years and then realised our extension clients needed it done properly. The list has grown to six. It will not grow to sixteen.

01 / 06 · Single storey, double storey, wraparound

House extensions

Rear, side-return and wraparound extensions that open the back of the house onto the garden, with the structure, glazing and finish handled by one team.

From £1,950 per square metre for a single-storey extension, finished and decorated.

02 / 06 · Dormer, hip-to-gable, Velux

Loft conversions

A bedroom and bathroom in the roof in eight to ten weeks, with the structure, stairs and fire regulations done properly.

From £38,000 for a Velux conversion, £48,000 for a rear dormer with an en-suite, £62,000 for hip-to-gable.

03 / 06 · Whole-house, knock-throughs, period restoration

Renovations and refurbishments

Taking a tired house back to the brick and bringing it up to date in one planned programme, from rewiring to the final coat of paint.

Whole-house renovations are quoted from a survey; most three-bedroom projects are £60,000 to £120,000.

04 / 06 · Designed, supplied and fitted

Kitchens and bathrooms

Kitchens and bathrooms fitted by the same trades that build our extensions, so the plumbing, electrics, tiling and joinery are right first time.

Fitted kitchens from £12,000 including units, worktops and all trades.

05 / 06 · From a home office to a whole house

Garden rooms and new builds

Insulated garden offices and studios in three weeks, and self-build houses from foundations to handover with one contractor.

Garden rooms from £24,000 for 4m × 3m, insulated, wired and decorated.

06 / 06 · Steel beams, underpinning, foundations, drainage

Structural work and groundworks

The part of building that nobody sees and everything depends on: beams, foundations, underpinning and drainage, with the calculations and the inspections done right.

Steel beam installations from £1,800.

Not sure which?

Start with a drawing, not a decision.

Most people arrive with a problem (no space, a dark kitchen, a fourth child) rather than a service. A site visit and a sketch usually settle whether it is an extension, a loft, a knock-through or a move. We tell you which, and what each would cost, before you commit to drawings.

Start with a site visit.

Gareth or Claire will come out, measure up and give you a straight answer on what is possible and roughly what it costs. No charge, no obligation, no hard sell.
