Schools and nurseries

A school is three hundred people a day on the same floors and toilets, and it has to be clean by half past eight tomorrow. We clean seven schools and four nurseries across Cardiff on term-time contracts, with a team that knows the building, a deep clean every holiday and the safeguarding paperwork done before anyone sets foot in it.

The daily clean starts after the last club finishes: classrooms vacuumed and surfaces wiped, toilets cleaned and restocked with a mid-afternoon check if the specification asks for it, the hall and dining room floors done after lunch and again at the end of the day, the kitchen to food-hygiene standard, reception and the office. Holiday deep cleans strip and reseal the hall floor, machine-clean carpets, wash walls and doors, clean lights, windows inside and the tops of cupboards, so September starts clean.

Every operative on a school site has an enhanced DBS check with the children's barred list, safeguarding training recorded on your single central record, and a photo ID badge. The supervisor attends your site meetings if you want them to. Term-time contracts are priced on thirty-nine weeks with the holiday deep cleans itemised separately, so the invoice in August is not a surprise.
