Tethered or untethered, 7 kW, smart
EV charger installation
Home EV chargers supplied and fitted in a morning, with the earthing, the isolator and the notification done properly so it is safe and the warranty is valid.

A 7 kW home charger adds about 25 miles of range an hour and charges most cars overnight on the cheap tariff. The installation is the easy part; doing the earthing right is what you are paying for.
We fit chargers from three manufacturers, tethered or untethered, all smart (app-controlled, scheduled for off-peak tariffs). Every installation gets its own circuit from the consumer unit, a dedicated protective device with open-PEN detection or an earth rod where the supply needs it, and an isolator. We check the supply fuse and the main earth before quoting, which is why the survey is free and the quote is fixed.
The installation is notified to the network operator and building control by us. Some operators need to upgrade a supply fuse first; we tell you if yours does and arrange it.

Questions about eV chargers
Can I have a charger if I park on the street?
Not safely on the public pavement. If you have a drive or a garage, yes. If not, we can advise on the council's cross-pavement channel scheme where it exists.
Is there a grant?
Grants for houses with driveways ended; there are still grants for flats, rented homes and some workplaces. We check your eligibility at the survey and handle the claim where it applies.
Book an electrician.
Fixed prices on EICRs, boards and chargers, a quote first on everything else, and a slot this week. Loss of power or a burning smell: ring, any hour.
