RCD tripping every time it rained for a year and two electricians had replaced the RCD. Dan found the outside socket full of water in ten minutes. £85.
EV charger fitted in a morning, including the earth rod the supply needed that the online quote had not mentioned. Fixed price held. The app was set up on the tariff before they left.
Full rewire of a 1930s semi while we lived in it. Dusty, as they warned us, but we never lost the kitchen and the chases were plastered beautifully. Four stars for the dust; five for everything else.
Kitchen downlights, garden lights and four extra sockets. Tom laid the downlights out on the ceiling with tape before drilling so we could see the pattern. Thoughtful, tidy, certified.

Sophie's rewire review is four stars because of the dust, and the dust was real. Chasing walls in a 1930s semi while a family lives in it makes a mess, however well you sheet up. We tell every rewire customer that in advance now, in writing, with the rooms and the days. The review stays because it is true and because the next customer deserves to know.
