Microneedling
A pen with very fine needles makes tiny channels in the skin. People use it for texture and some kinds of scarring. It is not a quick fix.

This is one of the more straightforward treatments we do, and also one of the slowest. If you want something for a wedding in three weeks, this is not it.
We use a new sterile needle cartridge for every session and open it in front of you. The skin is numbed for half an hour first. Afterwards you will look sunburnt for a day or two, and may have small dry patches for a few days.
We will not needle active acne, cold sores, broken skin or a keloid scarring history. Do not buy a home roller: we see the infections.

Questions about microneedling
How many sessions will I need?
Commonly three, and we review after each one. You can stop whenever you like.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
Not for twenty-four hours, please. Your skin has thousands of small openings in it.
Start with a conversation.
Forty-five minutes in a quiet room. Nothing is done on the day, and you can leave having decided against everything.
