Dermal fillers

Dissolvable hyaluronic acid gel, placed for a specific reason after a long conversation. We use small amounts, and we say no more often here than anywhere.

Fillers are the treatment most likely to go wrong in careless hands, and most of the correction work we do is on someone else's. They carry real risks, including, rarely, blocking a blood vessel.

We use only dissolvable hyaluronic acid products, keep hyaluronidase in the building, and Helen is trained to deal with complications. She will go through those complications with you before you sign anything. There is a fourteen-day cooling-off period after your consultation.

We do not do lip flips, cheek trends or anything copied from a filter, and we will not treat someone who has brought a picture of somebody else. People often come to us wanting to have more filler, and leave having decided to dissolve some.

What is included

  • Consultation and a fourteen-day cooling-off period
  • Photographs for your record only, never for marketing
  • Product batch numbers recorded and given to you
  • A review at two weeks
  • A clinician's phone number for after hours

What it costs

A filler consultation is £60. If you go ahead, treatment starts at £240 per syringe, and most people need less than they think. There are no packages or offers. You pay for the consultation you had, and nothing more unless you decide to go ahead.

Questions about dermal fillers

Can you dissolve filler from elsewhere?

Often yes, after an assessment, and we will want to know what was used if you can find out. Dissolving carries its own risks, which Helen will explain.

How long does it last?

Longer than the box sometimes says. MRI studies have found filler lasting years. Assume it will be with you for some time.

Start with a conversation.

Forty-five minutes in a quiet room. Nothing is done on the day, and you can leave having decided against everything.
