Windsor Place, the mauve door.

A terraced house, four minutes on foot from the station, with no big sign. You could walk past it, and many people prefer that.

Getting here

On foot

Windsor Place is a two-minute walk from Windsor Road, the main street, on the same side as the library. The dark mauve door has a tiled path and a clipped bay tree.

By train

Penarth station is about four minutes away on foot, with trains from Cardiff Central every fifteen minutes or so on weekdays. Take the Station Approach exit and walk towards the town.

By car

Two-hour street parking on Windsor Place, sometimes tricky in the day, and the pay-and-display on Albert Road is about five minutes on foot. Do not plan to rush: arrive early and have a coffee.

Access

There is one step at the front door, and we have a portable ramp: tell us and it will be out. The consulting room and treatment room are on the ground floor, as is the toilet.

After treatment

You will not be sedated, so you can drive home after most things. If you have had a medium peel, you might want a hat and sunglasses, and possibly a friend.

Privacy

There is no sign on the front of the house beyond a small plate, and appointments are spaced so that you do not sit with anyone else. Use the side gate if you prefer.

Lost? Ring 029 2018 0161. Look for the tiled path and the bay tree.

Forty-five minutes in a quiet room. Nothing is done on the day, and you can leave having decided against everything.
