Saturdays, bank holidays, late nights, the odd day

Weekends, holidays and ad hoc

Saturday group walks until two, solo walks and visits on Sundays and bank holidays, and the one-off: a walk because you are in the office for once, a visit because the train is late. Booked by message, confirmed by reply. Small supplements, published.

Most of our dogs walk the same days every week, but life is not a timetable. Weekends, bank holidays, a late meeting, a wedding, a hospital appointment: message the walker, and if we can we will. Current clients first, then the waiting list.

Saturdays run a reduced group round until two, with the walkers who choose to work them. Sundays and bank holidays are solo walks and home visits only, because the parks are busy and the walkers get a day off. An ad hoc walk booked before six the evening before is the normal price; after six it carries a £5 late fee because somebody has to redo the round.

If you are away for a night or two and your dog is fine at home with visits, we can do a morning and evening visit with a walk in the middle; for anything longer we will point you to a boarder or sitter we trust rather than pretend three visits a day is company. Keys are held in a coded safe at the base, labelled with a number and never your address.

Questions about weekends and ad hoc

Can you walk my dog this afternoon?

If you are a current client and a walker has a slot, yes; message rather than ring and you will get a yes or a no within the hour. New clients need a meet and greet first, so the first walk is never same-day.

Do you do overnight stays?

No. Visits morning and evening for one or two nights, yes; for anything longer we recommend a boarder or sitter, and we know good ones.

Book a meet and greet.

Free, up to forty-five minutes, at your house or on the fields. We meet the dog, agree the days and the walker, and take a key. Message or ring, or use the form, and we reply within the day.
