Areas

Pontcanna on foot, Whitchurch by van.

The base is a house on Severn Grove, not a shop, so you will not visit it: the meet and greet happens at your house or on the fields. This page says which streets we cover, how your dog gets to the park from each, and where we stop and why.

The areas

Pontcanna and Canton

The home patch, on foot: Severn Grove, Cathedral Road, the Pontcanna streets between Llandaff Road and the fields, and Canton as far as Victoria Park. Collected and walked to the park, no van needed.

Llandaff and Llandaff North

By van from the base, ten minutes. Llandaff village, the Cathedral end, Fairwater Road and the Llandaff North streets along the Taff. Walked in Llandaff Fields or along the Trail.

Riverside and Grangetown

Riverside between the river and Cowbridge Road, and the Grangetown streets up to the Taff Embankment. Walked in Bute Park via the river path or driven to the fields.

Whitchurch and Gabalfa

By van, fifteen minutes. Whitchurch village and the streets near Hailey Park, which is where those dogs walk; Gabalfa along the Taff. Mornings only, three dogs on the round.

Where we do not go

East of the river beyond Cathays, the Bay, Ely and Fairwater beyond the Western Avenue. Not because they are bad patches but because the van time would come out of the walk, and we time the walk from the gate.

The base

27 Severn Grove, Pontcanna, CF11 9EA: a house, not a shop. Keys live here in a coded safe, the van lives outside it, and the meet and greet usually happens at your house or on the fields, not here.

Not sure if your street is in? Message 07700 900 471 with the postcode and you will get a yes or a no within the hour.

Book a meet and greet.

Free, up to forty-five minutes, at your house or on the fields. We meet the dog, agree the days and the walker, and take a key. Message or ring, or use the form, and we reply within the day.
