Forty-five minutes on recall, lead manners and the pull
Training walks
A one-to-one walk with Ffion working on one thing: recall, loose-lead walking, passing other dogs, or settling in the van. Forty-five minutes, written up afterwards with what to practise at home. £30.

A dog that pulls like a train or will not come back is harder to walk and less fun to own. Ffion holds an IMDT qualification and does one-to-one walks on the one thing that is getting in the way, reward-based, with the owner given the same thing to practise so it sticks.
The first session is an assessment: we watch the dog on its normal walk, pick one goal, and agree what good looks like in six weeks. Then a session a week, with a note after each saying what we did, what worked and the five-minute exercise for you to do before breakfast. Most recall and lead work shows in four to six weeks if the homework happens.
We do not use rattle cans, slip leads or anything that works by scaring the dog, and we will say if a problem is beyond a walker and needs a clinical behaviourist. Training walks can replace or add to your normal walks; the group walkers use the same cues so the dog hears one message.

Questions about training walks
Can you fix my dog's recall?
We can get most dogs to a reliable recall in the fields within six weeks, if the homework happens between sessions. A dog with a strong chase drive gets a long line and a very good recall in most places, and honesty about the rest.
Do you train in the owner's absence?
Yes, that is the point of a training walk, but the owner has to do the five-minute homework or the dog learns that the rules only apply to Ffion.
Book a meet and greet.
Free, up to forty-five minutes, at your house or on the fields. We meet the dog, agree the days and the walker, and take a key. Message or ring, or use the form, and we reply within the day.
