Group walks

Same walker, Jamie, for three years. Our spaniel sits by the door at twenty past nine on walk days. The photo arrives before Jamie has reached the next house, and the note once said "ate something, watch him", which saved us a vet visit.

Solo walks

Rescue greyhound who could not cope with other dogs. Ffion walks her solo along the Taff on a long line at the times nobody is about, and after six months she walked past a labrador without a sound. We did not think that was possible.

Puppy visits

Puppy visits from ten weeks, twice a day, following our crate routine exactly. Note after every visit with what she ate and whether she went. She joined the group walk at five months and has never looked back.

Adventure mornings

Excellent walkers and a very tired collie on Wednesdays. Four stars because I could not get a Friday adventure slot for three months; they run four dogs and will not stretch it, which in fairness is why I wanted it.

Training walks

Six training walks for a labrador who pulled me over twice. Ffion gave us a five-minute exercise each week and was blunt when we had not done it. He now walks on a loose lead past the butcher's. Worth every penny of the £30.

Visits and ad hoc

Had a hospital stay at short notice. Sioned sorted morning and evening visits for two nights within an hour of my message and sent photos each time. Keys back through the door the day I got home. Invoice listed every visit.

About the four stars

Gareth waited three months for a Friday adventure. We will not add a fifth dog to fix it.

The adventure van takes four dogs because that is how many one walker can keep in sight on a hillside with a recall that has to work. Both mornings have been full since 2023 with a waiting list, and we move dogs up it in order. We could run a second van; we would rather not until there is a fourth walker we trust with it. So the honest answer to Gareth is the one he got: the list is the list, and it was worth the wait.

Book a meet and greet, walk with us for a few months, and tell the next owner what it was like. Good or bad, it stays up.
