White uPVC turns grey with traffic film and green with algae within a few years on any house that faces north or sits under trees. It washes off; it just needs the right brush and a lot of water.
We wash fascias, soffits and the outside faces of the gutters with a soft brush on a water-fed pole, using a uPVC cleaner where the staining is heavy and a final rinse of purified water so nothing dries in streaks. It is the same kit window cleaners use, with a stiffer brush.
The black streaks that run down from the gutter joints, called tiger stripes in the trade, need a specialist cleaner and hand work. We price them separately when we see them.
We clean, we do not restore. Faded or chalky uPVC will look clean but not new, and we will tell you that before we start.

Questions about fascias and soffits
Will it damage the paint on my wooden fascias?
Not with a soft brush and no pressure washer. Flaking paint will flake more, so we say so first and you decide.
Can you do the windows at the same time?
We rinse the sills and glass under the fascias so they are not left streaky. A full window clean is a window cleaner's job; we can recommend one.
How long does it stay white?
Two to four years on most houses. North-facing walls under trees go green sooner.
