What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to ask us about it.
What we collect
When you use the booking form we collect your name, phone number, email address and postcode, the job, when you need it, a day if you gave one, and anything you write. The form records the time it was sent and your IP address, used only to block automated submissions. The prices page stores nothing: your choices are in the page address and nowhere else.
For a job we also hold the property address, access notes, the photographs and camera footage of your gutters and roof, and invoices and payments.
Why we use it
- To book and carry out the work (our contract with you, or steps you asked us to take before one).
- To send you the photographs, and to send them to your insurer or roofer only when you ask.
- To keep accounting records (a legal obligation).
Who sees it
Rhodri and Cerys. The review service receives your email address once, after the job. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after six months. Photographs are kept for two years so we can compare the next visit; camera video for one month. Accounting records are kept for six years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, including the photographs, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our using it. Email jobs@high-reach-exteriors.co.uk. We answer within a month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website sets a session cookie only when you send the booking form, to limit repeat submissions; it expires when you close the browser. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. The map on the find-us page is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies when it is displayed.
