Decking cleaning
Green, slippery timber and composite decks cleaned and made safe to walk on, ready to oil.

From £85 for a small deck
A deck in a valley garden goes green and slippery in one wet winter. The algae is the slippery part; it comes off easily. The grey is the timber itself weathering, and that is a different job.
We sweep the deck, apply a deck cleaner, and wash it with a rotary cleaner at low pressure along the grain, so the boards are not furred up or gouged. Grooved boards get a stiff brush down every groove.
Composite decking is washed the same way with a composite-safe cleaner. It does not grey, but it does grow algae in the grooves.
If you want the deck oiled, it needs two dry days first. We can come back, or leave it ready for you to do.

Questions about decking
Will it look new?
Clean and safe, yes. Silver-grey weathered timber needs a deck brightener and an oil to bring the colour back.
Can you oil it?
Yes, on a second visit two dry days later. We price it when we see the deck.
Is it safe for my lawn?
Yes. The run-off is mostly water; we rinse the lawn edge after.

Gutters any time; drives, render and roofs when the weather lets the job work. Photographs of every gutter run come by text the same day.
