Camera check
See inside your gutters.
A camera on the head of the pole, a tablet on the pavement, and photographs of every run by text the same day. Free with every clear, or £35 on its own.

What the camera finds
Six things we see every week.
Leaves and silt
The usual: a sludge of rotted leaves and roof grit, worst at the outlets and the corners.
Moss balls
Lumps of moss washed off the roof that sit over the outlet like a cork.
Lost balls
Tennis balls and footballs, mostly over terraced back gardens. We return them.
Old nests
Out of the nesting season only. If birds are nesting, we leave that run and come back.
Sagging brackets
A gutter that holds water in a dip. We photograph it and tell you; we do not refit gutters.
Leaking joints
Dried seals at the unions show as a drip line on the wall. A roofer or gutter fitter replaces them.
How it works
Before, after, and a straight answer.
The camera rides on the same carbon fibre poles as the vacuum head and sends a live picture to a tablet on the pavement. We film each run before we clear it, so you can see what was there, and again after, so you can see it is empty and running to the outlet.
Anything we cannot fix with a vacuum, such as a dipped bracket, a dried joint seal or a slipped tile above the gutter, goes in the same text with a photograph and a plain description for your roofer or your insurer. We clean; we do not repair gutters or roofs, so we have nothing to sell you off the back of it.

Questions about the camera check
Who books a camera check on its own?
Mostly people buying a house, who want to know before they exchange, and landlords between tenants. It is also useful before an insurance claim for damp.
Do I get the video?
You get the photographs by text. The video is kept for a month and sent by link if you ask.
Can you see the downpipes?
The top of each one, yes. A blocked downpipe lower down shows as water standing at the outlet, and we rod it from the bottom.
Choose your house, see the price, pick the month.
Gutters any time; drives, render and roofs when the weather lets the job work. Photographs of every gutter run come by text the same day.
