The lorry waits while you load, then takes it straight away

Wait-and-load

No room for a skip, no time for a permit, or a street where a skip would not last the night? The lorry brings a skip, waits up to an hour while you load it, and takes it away. No permit needed. From £210.

Wait-and-load is a skip that never leaves the lorry. It arrives, is set down beside it, and the driver waits up to an hour while you and your helpers load it, then lifts it and goes. Because it is never left on the road, you do not need a council permit, and because it goes the same hour, nobody else fills it overnight.

It works when the waste is ready and waiting: a house clearance where everything is already bagged in the hall, a garage emptied onto the drive, a builder with a pile to shift. It does not work if you are still pulling out a kitchen. Have three or four people ready and the hour is plenty for a 6-yard skip.

What it costs

Questions about wait-and-load

How much can we load in an hour?

Four people with everything ready fill a 6-yard skip in thirty to forty minutes.

Can you do it on a Saturday?

Saturday mornings, yes, if booked by Thursday.

Order by two. On your drive tomorrow.

Pick the size, tell us where it goes, and Glyn or one of the drivers drops it with boards under it. Fourteen days, collection, tipping and VAT in the price, and the permit sorted if it goes on the road.
