Liquid through a laptop usually damages the keyboard and the board. On anything over about four years old, it will cost more than the laptop is worth. We can save the drive from £90.

Water damage is the price of the clean and diagnosis, taken off any repair that follows. We rate a repair as "probably not worth it" if it costs more than about 60 per cent of what the device would sell for.
