£10 a visit for four windows, £1.25 a window after that; a twelve-window semi is £20 every four weeks
Domestic rounds, every four weeks
The round is the heart of it: the same two cleaners on your street every four weeks, on the day the rounds page gives for your postcode, with a text the night before. Pure water on a pole from the ground, the frames and sills with every clean, the doors free, no contract, and a price you can work out from the number of windows before you ring.

Two thousand three hundred houses across CF5, CF11, CF14 and CF15 are on the rounds, each with a fixed weekday and a fixed week in the four-week cycle, and the vans work the same streets in the same order so that your neighbour's clean is the one before yours. You do not need to be in: the cleaner texts the evening before, you leave the side gate unlocked, and the money goes by card at the door if you are there, by bank transfer that evening if you are not, or by GoCardless if you would rather never think about it.
A pure-water clean is different from the bucket and squeegee most people grew up with. The water in the van tank has been through a resin filter until it reads zero on the meter, which means it carries no minerals to leave spots; the brush on the pole scrubs the glass, the frame and the sill, and the glass is rinsed with the same water and left to dry. No ladders against your gutters, no footprints on the flat roof, and a second-floor window gets exactly the same clean as the ground floor.
The first clean on a new round costs half as much again, because a window that has not been done for a year takes two passes to bring the frames back and the glass may need a second rinse the next visit; from the second visit you pay the round price. The price is worked out from the windows, which we count on the first visit and write on your card, and it only changes if you add a conservatory or an extension. We do not raise prices mid-year and we tell you in writing in January if the next year will be different.

Questions about domestic rounds
Do I need to be in?
No. The text the evening before is so you can unlock the side gate. If the gate is locked we clean the front and charge for the front, and we text to say so.
What if it rains?
We carry on. Rainwater is nearly pure and does not spot pure-water-cleaned glass; the mark people see after rain is the dirt the rain carries off a dirty frame, and the frames have just been done. Ice and winds over 35 mph stop the round, and we make the day up the same week.
Your street has a day. Your house has a price.
The rounds page gives the day and the next date for your postcode; the prices page turns a window count into the figure. Send the form or a text and Lowri replies the same working day, and your first clean goes on the next round through your street.
