One wedding a day, from £450 to a whole barn, with an itemised quote
Weddings
From a bridal bouquet and six buttonholes to a barn with an arch, forty tables and the church: forty-eight weddings a year, never two on the same day, a free hour's consultation, a mood board and an itemised quote held for sixty days, and flowers grown for you in our own garden where the season allows.

Wedding flowers go wrong in two ways: a florist who does three weddings on a Saturday and a quote that balloons. We do one a day, so the person who sat with you builds it and delivers it, and the quote is by the piece, so you can see what the arch costs and decide the pew ends are not worth it.
The consultation is an hour in the shop on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening or a Saturday morning, with tea, your photographs and ours, and a conversation about the venue, the dress, the colours and the budget, which we ask for at the start because it decides everything and nobody is embarrassed by it. Within a week you get a mood board and an itemised quote: bouquet, bridesmaids, buttonholes, corsages, ceremony pieces, tables, the cake, the bar, each priced. Change anything; the quote is held for sixty days and a £150 deposit holds the date.
From spring to autumn we plant for your wedding: a row of dahlias in your colours, sweet peas, cosmos, the foliage, so the flowers are picked two days before and have never been in a lorry. Winter weddings use British and Dutch growers and the foliage from the garden. On the day the person you met delivers the bouquets to the house by ten, dresses the ceremony and the venue, moves the ceremony flowers to the reception if that is the plan, and collects the hired vases on Monday. Forty-eight weddings a year, never two on the same day; the diary on the booking page says which Saturdays are gone.

Questions about weddings
How far ahead should we book?
Nine to twelve months for a Saturday from May to September; less for other days and months. We hold a date on a deposit, and the quote can change as plans do until sixty days before.
Can we have peonies in October?
No, and we will say so rather than fly them in from the southern hemisphere. The seasons page shows what October has (dahlias, chrysanthemums, hydrangea, berries, the last roses), and we will show you what it looks like.
Order by 1pm and it is there this afternoon.
A hand-tied from the best of the morning, a bowl for someone grieving, a bunch every fortnight, or an hour in the shop to talk about a wedding: ring, send the form, or come in. Same-day delivery across the Vale by electric van, £5 local, £8 across the Vale, free over £60.
