Delivery

Same day across the Vale, by electric van.

Order by 1pm, Monday to Saturday, and Owen delivers that afternoon: £5 within five miles of Cowbridge, £8 across the Vale, free over £60. Every postcode we go to is below with its cut-off, because Penarth and the Bridgend side are a longer run and close at noon.

Bouquets travel in water. Nobody in? We leave them somewhere safe you tell us about, or with a neighbour, and text you. In hot weather we text before we set off.

Sunday delivery for Mothering Sunday and by arrangement for weddings. Collection from the shop is free, any time we are open. For an address outside the Vale we can arrange flowers through a florist near it, and we will tell you honestly if you would do better ringing them direct.

The van

Electric since 2022, out every afternoon, and Owen drives it.

The van leaves the shop at about half past one with the morning's orders in water in the racks, does Cowbridge and the villages first, then one of two loops: Llantwit, Barry and Penarth, or Pencoed, Bridgend and the Wenvoe side. It is back by half past five. Owen drives because he built most of what is in the back and would rather hand it over himself. Funeral flowers go out separately, in the morning, so they are at the funeral director's by nine.

  • In water, in racks, never on their side
  • A text when it is on its way if you ask for one
  • Funeral flowers delivered by nine, separately

Order by 1pm and it is there this afternoon.

A hand-tied from the best of the morning, a bowl for someone grieving, a bunch every fortnight, or an hour in the shop to talk about a wedding: ring, send the form, or come in. Same-day delivery across the Vale by electric van, £5 local, £8 across the Vale, free over £60.
