Parties, dinners, a hotel desk every Monday, a restaurant every Friday
Events and weekly flowers
Flowers for a party, a dinner, a christening, a launch or a funeral tea, and the weekly contract flowers for the hotels, restaurants, offices and the dentist on the High Street who have a bunch on the desk every Monday. Quoted by the piece, delivered and collected, and built from what is in season.

Half the week is weddings and bouquets; the other half is the quiet contract work that keeps a florist going: the hotel in the square on a Monday, the restaurant by the bridge on a Friday, the dentist, the solicitor, the farm shop. And the parties, which are weddings without the nerves.
For a party, dinner or event, tell us the room, the number of tables, the colours and the budget, and we quote by the piece: tables, a bar arrangement, something at the door, the top table. We deliver and dress on the day and collect vases the day after. Christenings, big birthdays, anniversary dinners and funeral teas are the usual; a launch for a shop or a showroom gets the same treatment with your colours.
Weekly flowers are a standing order: a vase of what is best that week, delivered on your day, the old one taken away, from £28 for a desk and £60 for a restaurant's tables. Clients get the seasons rather than the same lilies every week, and an invoice monthly. We will come and look at the space first, free, because a north-facing reception and a sunny window want different flowers.

Questions about events
How much notice for a party?
A week is comfortable; three days is possible for most things; same day is a bouquet in a vase, which is often all a dinner needs.
Can we hire vases?
Yes, from the shop's stock of urns, bottles, jam jars and glass, included in event quotes and collected the day after.
Order by 1pm and it is there this afternoon.
A hand-tied from the best of the morning, a bowl for someone grieving, a bunch every fortnight, or an hour in the shop to talk about a wedding: ring, send the form, or come in. Same-day delivery across the Vale by electric van, £5 local, £8 across the Vale, free over £60.
