Hand-tied from £35, florist's choice or yours, delivered same day across the Vale

Bouquets and arrangements

Hand-tied bouquets at £35, £55 and £85, built from what is freshest that morning in the shop and the garden, wrapped in paper and sent out in water. Choose a colour and a feel, or tell us the person and the occasion and leave it to us. Order by 1pm for same-day delivery across the Vale.

A hand-tied bouquet of peonies, garden roses and eucalyptus wrapped in brown paper, lying on a pale wooden table

Most of what leaves the shop is a bouquet for someone: a birthday, a thank you, a sorry, a Tuesday. The three prices are three sizes of the same idea, which is the best of what is in that morning, conditioned overnight, tied loose and garden-ish rather than round and tight, and sent out in water so it arrives alive.

Florist's choice at £35 is a generous hand-tied of eight to ten stems and foliage; £55 is fuller with a focal flower or two (a peony, a garden rose, a dahlia in season); £85 is the one for a big occasion, with the best stems in the shop. Tell us a colour palette (soft, bright, white, "no yellow"), who it is for and what for, and we build it that morning. If you want specific flowers, say so and we will tell you honestly whether they are in season and what the substitute would be; the seasons page shows what is in flower.

Bouquets are wrapped in kraft paper and tied with twine, no cellophane, and travel in a water bubble so the stems never dry. Each comes with a card in your words (we will write it for you if you dictate on the phone, and we will not read it out) and a care note. Arrangements in a vase or a bowl, for a table or a reception desk, start at £45 and are built foam-free in chicken wire. The fortnightly subscription is £32 delivered for a £35 bunch, every other week, paused with an email.

Questions about bouquets

Can I order online?

By phone, by the form on this website, or in the shop. We do not have a basket and card page because we would rather ask you the three questions that make the bouquet right: who, what for, and what colours. It takes two minutes.

How long will they last?

A week for most bouquets if you follow the card: fresh water every two days, a snip off the stems, away from fruit and radiators. Dahlias and sweet peas are shorter and we say so; lilies and chrysanthemums longer.

Order by 1pm and it is there this afternoon.

A hand-tied from the best of the morning, a bowl for someone grieving, a bunch every fortnight, or an hour in the shop to talk about a wedding: ring, send the form, or come in. Same-day delivery across the Vale by electric van, £5 local, £8 across the Vale, free over £60.
