A bunch every fortnight for £32, gift vouchers, and the things on the shelves

Subscriptions and gifts

A fortnightly or monthly bunch delivered for less than the shop price, paused with an email; gift vouchers for a bouquet or a workshop; and the shelves of the shop: Welsh pottery vases, dried flowers from the garden, seeds, candles and the cards we print ourselves.

Buckets of spring flowers in a florist's cold room: tulips, daffodils, ranunculus and blossom branches

The subscription started as a favour for a man who wanted flowers on his wife's table every other Thursday and did not want to remember to order them. It is now a hundred and thirty households across the Vale, and it is the cheapest way to buy our flowers because the van is going anyway.

Choose fortnightly or monthly, a day of the week, and a palette (soft, bright, white and green, or surprise me), and a £35 or £55 bunch arrives on that day for £32 or £50, in water, with a care card. Pause for a holiday or stop altogether with an email; there is no minimum term. Gift subscriptions for three, six or twelve months are the thing people buy for a parent, and the card goes with the first bunch.

Vouchers are for any amount from £20, for a bouquet, a workshop or the shop, printed on our card and posted or emailed. The shop itself sells the things we use and like: stoneware vases from a potter in Llantwit, dried bunches from the garden in autumn, seeds from our own sweet peas, beeswax candles, and the cards. None of it is essential and all of it is chosen.

Questions about subscriptions

Can I send a subscription to someone else?

Yes, with a card from you on the first delivery and nothing from us after that but flowers. Most gift subscriptions are for a parent or a new mother.

What if nobody is in?

The van leaves it in a safe place you tell us about, in water, or with a neighbour. In hot weather we text first.

Order by 1pm and it is there this afternoon.

A hand-tied from the best of the morning, a bowl for someone grieving, a bunch every fortnight, or an hour in the shop to talk about a wedding: ring, send the form, or come in. Same-day delivery across the Vale by electric van, £5 local, £8 across the Vale, free over £60.
