Fobs, keypads and door entry for small businesses
Access control
Fob and keypad entry for shops, offices, surgeries and units: staff in, everyone else buzzed in, a lost fob cancelled in a minute, and a log of who came and went.

Keys get copied, lost and not returned. A fob can be cancelled from a laptop before the person who lost it has got home. For a small business with staff, that alone usually pays for the system.
We fit access control to single doors and small sites across Barry Docks, Atlantic Trading Estate, Llandough and Culverhouse Cross: a reader or keypad outside, a magnetic or electric lock that fails safe for fire escape, a green exit button inside, and a controller that holds the list of who can come in and when. Staff get fobs that work only in their hours, cleaners get a code that works on Tuesday evenings, and the system keeps a log.
Where visitors arrive, we add video door entry so reception or the shop counter can see who is at the door and let them in. Everything is linked to the fire alarm so doors release when it sounds, and we show the manager how to add and cancel people. Larger sites with several buildings are quoted after a survey.

Questions about access control
What happens in a power cut?
Doors on escape routes release, as fire safety requires; the controller has a battery that keeps the system and its log running for several hours, and the lock holds where it is allowed to.
Can we manage it ourselves?
Yes. A manager adds and cancels fobs from a laptop or phone. If you would rather, ring us and we do it the same day.
Does it work with our alarm?
It can: the alarm can unset when the first member of staff fobs in and set when the last leaves. We set that up where it suits the way you work.
