The warmest, quietest door, rising straight up
Sectional garage doors
Insulated steel sectional doors that rise vertically and lie along the ceiling, with no swing out onto the drive. Manual or electric, in smooth, ribbed and oak-effect finishes.

A sectional door is four or five insulated panels hinged together that run up and back along tracks on the ceiling. It is the warmest and best-sealing garage door, and it lets you park right up to it.
We fit 42mm insulated steel sectional doors with seals on all four sides, finger-trap protection between the panels, and spring safety devices, in smooth, ribbed or panelled designs and colours from white to anthracite to oak effect, with windows if you want light inside. They suit attached garages used as utility rooms, gyms or storage that need to stay dry and warm.
A sectional door needs headroom above the opening for the tracks, usually about 200mm, and clear ceiling space behind. Where the headroom is tight, low-headroom tracks help; where there is none, a roller door is the answer. We measure all of that at the survey.

Questions about sectional doors
How much headroom do I need?
About 200mm above the opening for standard tracks, less with low-headroom tracks. We measure it.
Is electric worth it?
For most people, yes: a sectional is easy to open by hand, but electric means you never get out of the car in the rain.
Can I have a door in the door?
Some sectional designs take a pedestrian door; ask at the survey and we will price it.
