Broken springs, snapped cables, stuck doors and dead motors
Repairs and springs
Garage door repairs on any make: springs, cables, wheels, locks, motors, remotes and doors jammed half open, usually within a few days and often the same day.

A garage door that has suddenly become impossibly heavy, or dropped on one side, has a broken spring or cable. Do not keep forcing it: ring us, and leave it where it is.
Garage door springs are under a lot of tension and break with age, usually with a loud bang. Replacing them is a job for someone with the right tools, and we carry springs for the common makes of up-and-over door on the van. We also replace snapped cables, worn wheels and pivots, broken locks and handles, and repair or replace electric operators and remotes for most brands.
The repairs page lists our common repair prices. If a door is so worn that repairing it is poor value, we tell you, and give you the price of a new one alongside the repair so you can choose.
