Sian Howells

Founder, office, care and nursing

Sian began on the switchboard of a big Bridgend agency and spent eleven years watching it send thirty CVs to people who had asked for three. She opened The Right Hire on Green Street in 2011 with one desk and a list of people who trusted her, and she has been placing office and care staff ever since.

She will happily tell an employer that the salary is too low, and a candidate that the second page of their CV can go. She chairs a local jobs fair each spring.

Gareth Lloyd

Driving, industrial and construction

Gareth drove Class 1 for eleven years out of Waterton before a bad back moved him indoors, and he still talks to drivers like one of them. He runs the 6am temp line, knows which units run nights, and he can tell you the height of most of the low bridges in the county.

He looks after the industrial and construction desks, and his phone is the one that rings on Sunday evenings.
