How we work
A CV is not a person. We talk to everyone we put forward, and tell you what we think of them, including the awkward bits.
Our rates are on the website with a calculator. No retainers, no exclusivity clauses and no surprise "admin" fees.
Right to work, DBS, CSCS, licences. We check with the source, and keep the expiry dates, so you are not caught out.
Candidates hear about the difficult manager. Employers hear about the salary being low. It saves everybody a bad first week.
Sample reviews
Rang at ten past six with two down on the morning shift. Two people at the gate by half seven, both with boots on, both inducted before. That is the whole job, really, and most agencies cannot do it.
Sian rewrote my CV by mostly deleting it, and told me honestly that one of the two jobs had a manager who goes through people quickly. I took the other. Three years on, I am still here.
They turned down my request for a nurse the same day because the registration check had not come back. I was cross for an hour, and then I remembered why I use them.
No. An employment agency in this country cannot charge a work-seeker for finding work, and we do not. Be wary of anyone who asks for money upfront for training or "registration" as a condition of a job.
Permanent placements are 12%, 15% or 18% of first-year salary by level, payable only when someone starts, with a twelve-week sliding rebate. Temporary staff are charged at about 32% above pay, with payroll, holiday pay and pension included. The employer calculator shows your figure.
Proof of your right to work, such as a passport or a share code. Any licences, cards or certificates for the work you do, and a CV if you have one. If you do not, we will help you put one together.
Temps often the same morning for warehouse and production work. Permanent office and driving jobs are usually two to three weeks. Senior roles take six to eight. We will tell you honestly at the start.
On this demonstration site, no. They are samples and the search works on them, but there is no employer behind them. On a real site this would be a live list.
Every Friday, for the week before, into your bank. Timesheets are due by Monday lunchtime. You get holiday pay and a pension, with payslips showing everything.
Register in ten minutes and we will ring you, or tell us about the job and we will come and see it. Free for candidates, and no fee for employers unless someone starts.
