Care and nursing
Carers, seniors and nurses with DBS, references and registration checked before they are offered a single shift.
Care is the one desk where getting it slightly wrong is not acceptable. Nobody is offered a shift until the paperwork is complete, and we say no to short-notice requests when it is not.
Every care worker has an enhanced DBS check, two proper references including their last care employer, and their Social Care Wales registration, or their NMC PIN for nurses, checked on the register. Training records for moving and handling, medication and safeguarding are kept up to date, and we tell you when something is close to running out.
We meet everyone in person and we ask why they do this work. We turn away people who interview well and do not care. For providers, we aim for the same faces each time, because residents and families should not have to meet a stranger every week. What it costs
Temporary care staff are charged at the pay rate plus about 32%, and permanent roles are from 12% of first-year salary. Every price is on the sectors page; the employer calculator shows your fee.

Yes. Many of our best carers came from retail or hospitality. We will explain the registration and the training, and find a home that supports new starters.
Do you pay travel time for domiciliary work?
We only work with providers who pay for it, and we tell you the rate before you accept. If a job is not as described, ring Sian.
