Temporary staff
Cover for tomorrow's shift, from a line that opens at 6am. You pay one hourly rate, and we handle payroll, holiday and pension.

Someone rang in sick at five past six. We know. Our temp line opens at six, and we keep a list of people who know your site and want the shift.
Temps work for us: we pay them weekly, with holiday pay and pension, and we hand over payroll and paperwork in one invoice. They are inducted the first time, with their PPE, boots and right-to-work checks sorted before they get to your gate. Where we can, you get the same faces back, because a temp who knows your line is worth two who do not.
After twelve weeks in the same job, agency workers are entitled to the same basic pay and conditions as your own staff. We keep track and warn you ahead, so nobody gets a nasty surprise. If you want to take someone on permanently, there is a fair and published transfer fee, which falls away altogether after a set time.
What is included
- A temp line from 6am to 8pm, and on Sunday evening
- Weekly pay with holiday pay and pension for every temp
- Right-to-work checks, PPE and induction records

What it costs

Questions about temporary
How quickly can you cover a shift?
For common warehouse and production roles, often the same morning, if you call by half past six. We will tell you honestly if we cannot, rather than leave you waiting.
Can I keep a temp I like?
Yes. We publish the transfer fee in our terms, it falls with time, and it is nil after 26 weeks. Many of our permanent placements began that way.
Looking for work, or looking for someone?
Register in ten minutes and we will ring you, or tell us about the job and we will come and see it. Free for candidates, and no fee for employers unless someone starts.
