The team

A nurse and a teacher.

We both came to this from other work, and we are both a bit suspicious of big claims. That is mostly why people like talking to us. We are supervised, insured and on a voluntary register.

The people

Mair Llewelyn, a woman with long silver hair in a dark blue jumper, sitting in a chair by a window

Mair Llewelyn

Hypnotherapist, founder

Mair was a district nurse in Powys for twenty years before training in clinical hypnotherapy in 2010. She opened at Park Place in 2012, and sees most of the people who come for smoking and phobias.

She speaks Welsh and English, and will tell you early if she thinks you need your GP more than you need her. Register details are placeholders on this demonstration site.

Gareth Hopkins, a man with glasses in a moss-green jumper, in a book-lined room

Gareth Hopkins

Hypnotherapist

Gareth taught secondary school in Merthyr for fifteen years, which is how he became interested in nerves. He trained in 2016, works mainly with sleep and confidence, and does most of the online sessions.

He reads the research so that you do not have to, and is cheerfully honest about how thin it can be. He also runs the recording studio, which is a cupboard.

Start with ten minutes on the phone.

Free, and no obligation. We ask what you are hoping for and tell you honestly whether we think we are the right people, or whether you should see someone else.
