For the nervous first-timer
First-show coaching
Contest prep with the first-timer's extras: choosing the show and category, registration and the federation paperwork, the suit, tan and day plan, and a coach backstage.

The first show is the one where everything is new: the federation, the registration, the testing, the suit, the tan, the running order, the waiting backstage. None of it is difficult, but all of it is unfamiliar.
First-show coaching is contest prep with a second list running beside it. Which tested federation, which show, which category suits your physique and your nerves. When to register, and what the drug testing involves so it holds no surprises.
Around twelve weeks out we sort the suit or trunks and talk about tan, which is applied by the show's tanning team on the day at most local events. Around four weeks out you get a show-day plan on one page: when to get up, what to eat, what to pack, when to pump up.
At local shows one of us is backstage with you. At shows further away we are on the phone. Either way, you will not be standing in a corridor wondering what happens next.

Questions about first show
I am nervous about going on stage. Is that normal?
Completely. Most first-timers are. Posing practice in the studio, with the light and the mirror, is the best cure we know.
Am I ready for a show?
Come for the free consultation. We will tell you honestly, and if the answer is "not this year" we will say what would change it.
How much does a show cost apart from coaching?
Federation membership, entry and testing fees, a suit and the tan come to roughly £250 to £450 for a first local show. We give you a list.
Start with a free half-hour. No sales, no scale.
Come in or call for thirty minutes: your training, your history, the show you have in mind if you have one, and an honest answer about whether it is the right time. If it is not, we will say so and say what would change it.
