Walk-in tidy-ups, ten minutes
Nails, ears and teeth
Nail clip or grind, ear clean, teeth brushing and a quick eye or paw tidy, walk in or booked, in ten minutes while you wait. Free nails with every groom; £10 on their own.

If you can hear your dog's nails on the kitchen floor they are too long, and long nails change how a dog stands. Ten minutes a month fixes it.
Nails are clipped or ground with a Dremel, which gives a smoother finish and suits dogs who hate the click of clippers. Black nails are done conservatively and we show you where the quick is. Ears are cleaned with a vet-grade solution and the hair inside plucked only where it is causing a problem; we do not pluck ears for the sake of it.
Teeth are brushed with a dog toothpaste and a finger brush, which is a start and not a substitute for the vet if there is tartar. For the dog that is not quite due a groom we do a paw tidy, an eye tidy or a sanitary trim on its own. Walk in between 1pm and 3pm on weekdays and we fit you in between dogs; for a nervous dog, book a quiet slot instead.

Questions about nails and tidy-ups
How often should nails be done?
Every three to four weeks for most pet dogs, less for a dog that walks on pavements a lot. If they have got very long, little and often brings the quick back so we can get them shorter over a few visits.
Book a groom.
Tell us the breed, the size and what you would like, and we confirm a slot by text within a working day. Nervous dog, first groom or a cat: say so and we book the quiet room.
