Bath, dry, clip or scissor, nails, ears
Full groom
The whole thing: a two-shampoo bath, blast and fluff dry, a clip or scissor finish in the style you ask for, nails clipped, ears cleaned and a bandana to go home in. Priced by size and coat.

A full groom is what most dogs on our books have: a proper bath, a proper dry and a finish that suits the coat and the dog, not whichever clip is quickest.
Your dog is bathed twice, once to lift the dirt and once to condition, then dried with a blaster and a stand dryer by hand, never left in a cage with a heater. Dried properly the coat stands up, and that is what lets us scissor it evenly instead of clipping it short because it is still damp.
Then the style. Teddy-bear heads and round feet on cockapoos and doodles, a breed-standard trim on a schnauzer or a Westie, a short practical pet cut for the dog that lives in the sea at Llantwit beach. Tell us what you like and bring a photo if you have one; we will say whether the coat can do it. Nails, ears, pads and the sanitary tidy are all in.

Questions about full groom
How often should my dog be groomed?
Curly and wool coats (cockapoos, poodles, bichons) every six to eight weeks, with a brush at home in between. Wire and long coats every eight to ten. Smooth coats need a bath and de-shed rather than a groom, as often as they get smelly.
Can I stay with my dog?
For the first ten minutes, yes, and for a nervous dog we will ask you to. After that most dogs settle faster without their owner at the window, so we will send you for a coffee and ring when they are done.
Book a groom.
Tell us the breed, the size and what you would like, and we confirm a slot by text within a working day. Nervous dog, first groom or a cat: say so and we book the quiet room.
