Appointments

Every appointment, and how to get it.

Two kinds matter most: same-day, for what cannot wait, released at 8am every weekday; and routine, for everything else, booked online at any hour up to four weeks ahead. The rest are below, with who you will see and how long it takes.

Online access

The NHS Wales App does most of it.

Book and cancel routine appointments, order repeat prescriptions, read your test results and letters, and see your vaccination record, at any hour. Reception sets up your login in five minutes with ID, or you can register in the app with a passport or driving licence. If you do not use a phone or computer, nothing changes: the phone and the front desk do everything the app does.

The same-day request form on this site needs no login at all: name, date of birth and a phone number, from 7am on weekdays, and it goes to the same list as the 8am calls.
