How a visit goes

From counting rooms to walking on it in socks.

  1. Quote by the room

Count the rooms, tick the stairs, choose the sofa and rugs. The price on the screen is the price on the invoice.

  2. A two-hour window

Pick a slot. We text the evening before and again when we are twenty minutes away. Parking for a van near the door helps.

  3. Tested, then cleaned

A fibre check and a spot test, the furniture moved, a full vacuum, then pre-spray, agitation, rinse and extraction.

  4. Dry by teatime

Air movers left running while we pack up, furniture back on blocks, and a card with what we did and how long to wait.

In every house

Four things we do before the wand comes out.

Tested first

Every carpet and fabric gets a hidden spot test and a fibre check before anything goes on it. Wool, viscose and old velvet each get a different clean.

An arrival window

A two-hour window when you book, a text the evening before and another when Owain is twenty minutes away.

Honest about stains

We tell you before we start which marks will come out, which will fade and which are permanent. No charge for the ones we cannot shift.

Left as we found it

Hoses run under a mat at the door, furniture goes back on blocks, and the van never runs with the front door open in the rain.

Pets

The smell is in the underlay, not on top.

A dried accident is the small part. The urine soaks through the backing into the underlay, which is why it still smells after you scrubbed. Owain finds every spot with an ultraviolet torch, treats each one with an enzyme that breaks down the salts, and pulls it back up with a sub-surface tool. £15 a room on top of the clean.

Three rooms and stairs

The quote on the website was £181 and the bill was £181. Owain tested a corner first, moved everything, and the lounge was dry enough to walk on by the time the kids were home.

Holiday let changeovers

They clean two lets for us between guests on Saturdays. Always on time, always the receipt, and the reviews from guests have stopped mentioning the carpet.

Mark, Porthcawl
Pet odour

Our rescue dog had used the back bedroom for weeks before we realised. The UV torch found nine spots. Two weeks on, no smell at all, and he has not been back.

Questions people ask

How much does carpet cleaning cost?

The first room is £55 and each one after £38; stairs and landing £35; sofas £65 to £120; rugs from £30. A three-bedroom house with lounge, hall and stairs is usually £180 to £220. The quote page works out your own figure.

How long until I can walk on it?

Straight away in clean socks. Most carpets are fully dry in two to four hours with the air movers running and the heating on.

Do you move the furniture?

Sofas, chairs, tables and beds on castors, yes, and they go back on foil pads or blocks. Wardrobes, pianos and full cabinets stay where they are.

Will every stain come out?

No, and anyone who promises that is guessing. We test first and tell you which marks will come out, which will fade and which are permanent, and we do not charge for the ones we cannot shift.

What do I need to do before you arrive?

Pick up small things from the floor, put breakables away and make sure we can park near the door. We need water and electricity.

Are your products safe?

Yes. Every product we use is listed with what it is for on the stain guide, and all are safe for children and pets once dry.
