What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to ask us about it.
What we collect
When you use the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address and postcode, the kind of scaffold, when you need it, a day for the visit and anything you write. The form records the time it was sent and your IP address, used only to block automated submissions. The estimator stores nothing; your choices are in the page address and nowhere else.
As a customer we hold the site address, photographs of the property taken at the visit, the quote, hire dates, inspection records and payments.
Why we use it
- To visit, quote, erect, inspect and strike the scaffold (our contract with you).
- To apply to the council for a pavement licence where needed (contract and legal obligation).
- To keep inspection records as the work at height rules require (legal obligation).
- To keep accounting records (legal obligation).
Who sees it
Our office and crews, the council for licence applications, your builder or roofer if you ask us to deal with them, and our accountant. We never sell or share your details for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after six months. Job and inspection records are kept for six years.

Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it (subject to what we must keep), or object to how we use it. Email office@upright-scaffolding.co.uk. We reply within a month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
