Hire estimator

Estimate the hire.

Choose the scaffold, the storeys and how many weeks you need it. Prices include putting it up, four weeks' hire, inspections and taking it down; the quote after a visit is the price.

Storeys count from the ground: a bungalow is 1, a two-storey house 2, a house with rooms in the roof or a three-storey terrace 3.

Pavement licence: a house front on a terraced street usually stands on the pavement, which needs a licence from Neath Port Talbot Council. We apply for you, the council's fee is passed on at cost, and it takes about 10 working days, so allow for that in your dates. If it stands on your own land, no licence is needed.

Craig looks at the house or building, talks to your builder or roofer if you like, and sends a written quote with four weeks' hire, inspections and the licence in it. Most domestic scaffolds go up within two weeks.
