Shop and cans

Order on the booking page for collection on Wednesday or any taproom day, or delivery on our van in CF37 and CF38 on Thursdays for £3, free over £40.

Rows of 440ml beer cans with plain pastel labels on a cold shelf in a small brewery shop, a box of twelve being packed on a wooden counter

The shop is a cold room by the chapel door with everything we have in cans, sold at the taproom price because a brewery shop that charges more than the taproom is taking the mickey. Mixed boxes are the thing people buy: you choose twelve from whatever is in the fridge, or we choose for you and write on the box why.

The core four are always there in 440ml cans at £3.80; the seasonals are canned in small runs and the shop is where they last longest. A mixed twelve is £36 and a mixed twenty-four £66, chosen by you from the fridge or by us from a line on the order form ("hoppy, nothing dark, one strong one for Christmas"). The gift pack is four cans and a glass in a box for £22, and the Christmas box of twelve with the imperial stout sells out by the tenth of December every year, so order in November.

Growler fills: bring a two-litre growler or buy ours for £6, and we fill it from any tap for £9 to £12. Kegs for parties: a 30-litre keg of the core range is £98, with a tap and a cooler jacket on loan against a £50 deposit; order by Wednesday for the weekend. Collection is any taproom day or Wednesday ten to four; delivery on our van in CF37 and CF38 on Thursdays is £3, free over £40, and anywhere in Britain by courier at £7.95 for up to twenty-four cans.

Questions about shop

Can you post beer?

Yes, anywhere in mainland Britain by courier, £7.95 for up to twenty-four cans, sent on Mondays. Someone over eighteen has to sign.

How long do the cans keep?

The pale and the IPAs are best within three months of the date on the base, the lager and the stout within six, the imperial stout improves for a year. We say which on the shelf.

Saturday at two: the tour, a flight, and a can to take home.

Ninety minutes round the tanks with whoever brewed that week, malt and hops in your hands, a taste from a fermenter, then four thirds on the chapel floor. £25, twelve at most. The same form takes a mixed box, the gallery, or a trade order.
