Cards and wrap

About four hundred cards from small printers, and wrapping paper worth keeping.

A wall of about four hundred cards from small printers, more than a third of them in Welsh or both languages, and none of them with a joke about wine.

We buy from letterpress and screen printers around Wales and the rest of Britain, mostly a few dozen at a time. Pen dd-blwydd cards cover most ages, including the difficult ones. We have a shelf for condolence cards where the words are short and kind, and we know that shelf is harder to choose from, so ask if you want a hand.

Wrapping paper comes flat in big single sheets and is rolled in paper at the till. Ribbon is cut by the metre. There is a pen and a stamp book on the counter for anyone writing a card on the way to the party.

How it works here

  • Around four hundred cards, a third in Welsh or bilingual
  • Hand-printed sheets of wrap from £2.50, rolled for carrying
  • Ribbon and string cut by the metre
  • A pen and stamps on the counter for the late
  • A hand choosing words in Welsh, if you ask

What it costs

Cards from £3.50, bilingual cards from £3.75, wrapping paper from £2.50 a sheet, ribbon cut by the metre from 60p. More prices are on the shop page, and the gift finder picks six by budget.

Questions about cards and wrap

Do you have cards in Welsh for all occasions?

Birthdays, weddings, new babies, sympathy, Christmas and thank-yous, and a few for the particular occasions no one else prints. Iestyn can check your spelling if you are writing inside in Welsh.

Can I order a big batch of one card?

Yes, for most printers, with a week or two of notice. We do wedding invitations through two of the printers as well; ask for a sample.
