Getting here

Where

14 Castle Arcade, Cardiff, the Victorian arcade between Castle Street and the High Street. Deep green frontage with a copper panel, next to what used to be the record shop. The arcade gates close at midnight; our door is on the Castle Street side after that.

Booking

Tables are bookable online for up to eight people, held for fifteen minutes. Groups of more than eight go in the back room. Six stools at the bar and the bench by the door are for walk-ins and never bookable.

Getting here

Cardiff Central is seven minutes on foot, Queen Street eight. Every city-centre bus stops within three minutes. There is no parking in the arcades; St David's and Westgate Street car parks are five minutes.

Age

Eighteen and over at all times, with ID if you look under 25. We cannot admit children, including babies, after 5pm; a licensing condition, not a choice.

Access

Level from the arcade into the bar, one step down into the back room with a portable ramp, an accessible toilet on the ground floor. The room is dim by design; tell us if you need the lamps up at your table.

Match days and events

On stadium days we open at noon with a shorter list and do not take bookings. After the match, the arcade gets busy and so do we; the forty-seat rule still stands.

Lost in the arcades? Ring 029 2018 0909. Look for the copper panel.

Book a table, or take the back room.

Forty seats, so Thursdays to Saturdays need a booking. The back room seats sixteen with no hire fee against a minimum spend; the whole bar is yours on a Monday. Eighteen and over after 5pm.
