One cat, one chalet, one covered run
Heated chalets
A timber chalet with a heated bed, a thermostat, a shelf at the window and a covered outdoor run. Eight of them, £15 a night, with food, litter and fuss all included.

A cat does not want a holiday. It wants to be warm, fed on time, and left alone until it feels otherwise. That is what we built.
Each single chalet is 1.2 metres wide and 2 metres high inside, insulated, with a low flat heated bed that a cat can choose to leave, a thermostat, a high shelf at the window and a hiding box. The covered run is another two metres long, and looks over the top field. Cats that want to sit there and watch the sheep do so for most of the day.
We feed what your cat normally eats. You can bring it, or we can buy the same at cost. Water is changed twice a day, and litter is scooped at each round, in the same type of litter if you bring a bag of it.
Bring a blanket or a jumper from home. It smells of you, and it does more good than anything we can buy. It goes in the chalet on the day, and it comes home with your cat unwashed, unless you tell us otherwise.

Questions about heated chalets
Is it warm enough in January?
Yes. The chalets are insulated and thermostatically heated to about 21°C, and the bed is warmer than that. We check them at every round, and at ten at night.
Is it too hot in August?
The chalets have a shaded run and a vent in the roof. On the hottest days we shut the sun out with blinds, and put out cold water and a damp towel.
Come and see where your cat would sleep.
Any day from 2pm to 4pm, by arrangement. Or put in your dates and see which chalets are free.
